Angry Bird leaves the Nest.

The ruling Samajwadi Party seemed to hurtle towards a split just before assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh after Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav defiantly released a list of candidates for seats already allotted by his father and party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav to others on Thursday night. His list of 235 candidates includes several party leaders who are close to Akhilesh and who did not make it to the party's official list announced a day before by Mulayam Singh Yadav. Is there a reservation quota for corruption?

The BSP chief had insulted Dalits,  BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad in a swift counter-attack. "Will your corruption be hidden in the name of Dalits?" said, also asking whether the huge amount of money deposited in her party's bank account was a "money conversion exercise."

Sources in the Enforcement Directorate have said that around 104 crores were deposited in a Union Bank account belonging to the BSP in the seven weeks since PM Modi banned 500 and 1,000-rupee notes to combat corruption and black money. At the same bank, 1.43 crores were reportedly deposited in the account of Ms Mayawati's brother, Anand Kumar, sources said. @pgurus

Only Dr Swamy can teach this kid a lesson...

The Metropolitan Magistrate on Monday dismissed BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s petition to seek documents from government departments and the Congress in the National Herald case.

However, the Court asked Swamy to file the list of witnesses and gave him opportunity to file “appropriate” petition for summoning documents again during the trial, while terming his dismissed petition as “fishing inquiry” and trying to widen the scope of the case@PGurus

How to get TRP

Rahul Gandhi is apparently copying Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s political style. A month after Kejriwal made sensational bribe allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi Assembly, Rahul made the same allegation today in Mehsana, Gujarat. Rahul claimed that PM Modi received Rs 40 crore as bribe from the Sahara group over a period of six months.

Rahul’s allegation against Modi looks more like a political gimmick as he has not tried to approach any court on the issue for action against the PM. @PGurus

Dedicated Ramu Kaka of Congress...

Former IAF chief Shashindra Pal Tyagi claimed on Saturday that the Prime Minister's Office was party to the decision in 2005 to change the operational requirements of choppers for IAF's VVIP squadron, which allegedly resulted in AgustaWestland bagging the order.
Manmohan Singh was the prime minister at the time.
and even in Manmohan Singh in the Coalgate scam is again in the spotlight.
Manmohan Singh name is almost in every case which happened in UPA tenure, not gandhi's.

Those who did not consider the generation of so much black money and scams during their regime as a blunder are now finding the crusade against black money a blunder," Arun Jaitley said and rejected the claim that GDP growth would drop by 2% and accused the opposition of avoiding a debate.

A Reuters report, November 4th, contains the available information regarding the million-dollar payment, which was made in 2011, when the active effort began to overthrow Bashar al-Assad in Syria. This previously unreported payment, which was intended to go through the Clinton Foundation, was made by Qatar, which, along with Saudi Arabia, are the main sources of funding to the jihadists who are trying to overthrow and replace Assad, the man who is blocking those two countries from building oil and gas pipelines through Syria into Europe. You've got MAIL

A week ago, the US election looked to be over. Hillary Clinton was riding so high in the polls after a disastrous series of gaffes by Donald Trump. Friday’s shock intervention by the FBI may not be enough to change that outcome on its own, but it has certainly set political imaginations running wild.

The worry for Democrats is that fresh inquiries regarding Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state come at a difficult time. Not only is it hard to prove a negative and re-establish her innocence with barely a week to go until the election, but the letter to congressional officials from director James Comey capped a tricky run of news that was already making a sizable dent in her polling lead.

Bengaluru steel flyover 'Beda'

The flyover, which will cost around Rs 2,000 crore, will involve uprooting 812 trees, and some heritage structures might also get ravaged. Also, environment experts say the steel bridge will increase the temperature by one or two degrees in India's coolest city, given that the material absorbs heat and releases it back in its surroundings.

People are most concerned about the environmental impact the will have. While has said it would plant 60,000 saplings to compensate for the loss of trees, environmentalists are not convinced.
