Secular GPS activated for Yogi Adityanath...

Secular Brigade thought Yogi Adityanath, the firebrand MP of Gorakhpur who doesn't shy away from making 'controversial' statements, would never be elected chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, but yet another master stroke played by PM Modi  you can even call "secular strike" in the heart of so called Seculars Brigade.

A lot has been said since the name of new Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was announced by BJP for the post. Most of the intellectuals, senior journalists, political commentators and opposition leaders have shown their dismay over the elevation of Yogi to the top post in politically crucial Uttar Pradesh. @PGurus

Go Goa Gone... #DigvijaySingh #GoaFloorTest #Congress Cartoon

In another setback for the Congress in Goa, senior leader Savio Rodrigues quit the party, saying he “cannot accept” Rahul Gandhi as his leader. “Rahul Gandhi is not taking responsibility, and Digvijaya Singh is responsible for the loss [in the Assembly floor test],” Rodrigues said in an interview to TimesNow. “I think Digvijaya Singh needs to get his head checked...because he is solely responsible for the damage to the Congress in Goa.”

Vishwajeet Rane quit the Congress. He had been upset with the party’s lack of urgency in forming government in Goa despite winning the most number of seats. @PGurus

Twisted scene from "Ramgarh Ke Sholay" as "Ram Mandir ke Sholay"

Adityanath said taking lessons from the life of Lord Ram, every section of society should march together for nation-building.

"Shree Ram spent his life establishing social harmony and equality.Likewise, for nation-building, there is a need to take every section of society, including Dalits, tribals and other backward castes, together."Our biggest responsibility is to embrace our brothers (people from socially oppressed sections) and establish harmony in society," he said.
Subramanian Swamy had earlier claimed that work on the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya could start before the end of this year and expressed confidence that the apex court’s verdict would pave the way for construction of the temple.

AAP ka Andey...

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) began its day with celebrations that were not meant to be. The tricolour balloons and AR Rahman's "Jai Ho" blaring on loudspeakers outside chief Arvind Kejriwal's home in Delhi vanished two hours into the counting of votes for five states including Punjab and Goa, where AAP had anticipated victories.

The party is at second place in Punjab and and wash out with zero seats in Goa, where it was expecting a big bang debut.

#Akhilesh hints at tie-up with #BSP बुआ और बबुआ #UP #EXITPolls2017 #ExitPolls

In an interview with BBC Hindi, Akhilesh Yadav hinted at a possible post-poll alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party in case of a hung Assembly.

The Samajwadi Party had contested the Assembly elections in alliance with the Congress. In the interview, Yadav confidently said that SP-Congress alliance will form the government in UP. When asked if he was willing to form an alliance with the BSP after the results were out, Yadav said, “Yes, if the need arises. No one wants President’s rule in the state so that BJP runs the government with a remote control,” he said. @pgurus

UP Minister Prajapati on the run...

BJP Keshav Prasad Maurya claimed Akhilesh Yadav of hiding Prajapati at his residence and said the chief minister had become a "patron" of criminals in the state. Police is enacting the drama of carrying out raids to arrest him,"

Chief Minister really wants, Prajapati can be caught in ten minutes," he said.

The BJP leader alleged CM house should not be allowed to become a "haven for criminals".

BJP leader Vijay Bahadur Pathak also charged the chief minister with campaigning for the gangrape accused and describing him as a capable leader before people.

Cong-Ras Factory...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his "coconut juice" and "potato factory" remarks.

"There is a Congress leader, and I want to pray for his long life...he recently went to Manipur to address an election rally. There he told farmers that he would extract juice from coconuts and send it to London. In fact, a coconut possesses water (and not juice) and it is grown in Kerala," he said addressing a rally here.

In the heat of the Uttar Pradesh election, it appears Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got a quote wrong... @pgurus
